The candidate should have 2–5 years of related experience or an associate degree in electronic technology, plus proficiency with calipers, micrometers, schematics and electronic test equipment. Allient emphasizes safety, teamwork and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electronic technology or comparable electronics degree; in lieu of degree, equivalent years of experience.
• 2 - 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience reading calipers, micrometers, schematics, blueprints, and using various hand tools and electronic test equipment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assemble, repair and/or replace electronic assemblies and interconnects with minimal supervision.
• Use tools and fixtures for precise locating and positioning of parts.
• Adjust, align, and tighten assemblies using hand tools.
• Utilize soldering techniques on SMT and PTH components.
• Identify, repair, and report defective assemblies using problem-solving skills.
• Test and adjust products; assist with test beds and instruments.
• Support testing/evaluation of production electrical/electronic products.
• Record test results in standard format in a timely manner.
• Evaluate and repair returned products as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and support teamwork.
• Observe safety regulations and company policies.
