Job summary

The role involves mechanical and electronic assemblies, subassemblies, mechanisms and systems in accordance with production and engineering specifications, wiring diagrams, and verbal instructions. The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in electronic technology (or equivalent experience) and 2–5 years of related work.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electronic technology or comparable electronics degree; in lieu of degree, equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of related work experience.
• Experience reading calipers, micrometers, schematics, blueprints, and using various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, and replace electronic assemblies and interconnects with minimal supervision.
• Use tools and fixtures for precise locating and positioning.
• Adjust, align, and tighten assemblies with hand tools.
• Solder SMT and PTH components using certified techniques.
• Troubleshoot and report defective assemblies.
• Test and evaluate production products; record results.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and support teamwork.
• Observe safety regulations and company policies.
