Job summary

Neotech in Westborough, MA is seeking an experienced technician to test printed circuit boards and ensure compliance with ESD and MSL procedures. The role requires interpreting schematics, performing functional and boundary-scan tests, and RF experience.

You will also back up tester software, maintain equipment, and document results. Responsibilities include training production test personnel, supporting test engineering projects, and driving test-process improvements while adhering to NEOTech

Qualifications

AA/AS Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent work experience.
Ability to work on single task / procedures / products following established procedures.
Experience operating test equipment such as HP 3070 and Genrad (Network and Spectrum Analyzers, oscilloscopes).
Willingness to support 2 or more product lines / customers and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Identify faulted components or manufacturing defects on production PCBs and submit for re-work.
Read, interpret, and react to schematics for troubleshooting.
Test PCBs for functional and boundary scan tests.
Run software backups, diagnostics and maintenance on tester control computers; identify viruses or fragmentation.
Create test reports describing results and observations.
Interface with cross-functional departments and possibly customers.
Train production test technicians and support 6S objectives.
