Platform Description

Ground Tactical Engagement Systems (TES) MILES includes simulation and training equipment such as I-MILES Combat Vehicle Tactical Engagement Simulation System (CV TESS), Opposing Forces Surrogate Vehicles, MILES systems, and related equipment.

Job Description

• Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on Ground TES Devices and GFP, following technical manuals, checklists, or industry best practices.
• Inform the Depot Lead of maintenance timelines, including travel or support needs.
• Ensure maintenance tasks do not conflict with training, exercises, and testing schedules.
• Record all maintenance activities in real-time in InSite.
• Adhere to warranty terms, tracking parts by number, serial, and location.
• Analyze maintenance trends, support obsolescence management, conduct failure analysis, and implement risk mitigation to enhance system reliability.
• Install modifications or upgrade kits as per manufacturer instructions.

Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years with BA/BS or 1+ MA/MS, or 4+ years with AA, or 6+ years without degree.

Certification: Basic Electronic Technical Certificate preferred.

Desired Experience

• Experience with maintenance of TADSS and GFP, following manuals and best practices.
• Experience coordinating maintenance timelines and supporting increased demand.
• Experience recording activities in management systems and verifying system interoperability.
• Experience managing hardware baselines, analyzing trends, and conducting failure analysis.

Clearance

Secret Clearance required.
