Job summary

Baker Hughes is hiring a Technician – PCBA for a swing shift to support our turbomachinery and process solutions team. You will set up and calibrate manufacturing and test equipment, perform functional tests, and troubleshoot at the component level, collaborating with engineers and quality teams.

The role requires an electrical technical degree, electronics experience, and ability to read instructions. Swing shift hours 2:30–11 pm, with potential for overtime and advancement within a leading

Qualifications

  • Electrical degree or similar from an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrate experience with electronics.
  • Be familiar with concepts that include inductance, capacitance, resistance, voltage and electrical currents.
  • Have a minimum of 1+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Have ability to read and interpret routine instructions
  • Have ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Have a good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
  • Work with approved chemicals.
  • Work overtime, as required.
  • Be able to work swing shift hours between 2:30 - 11 pm Monday-Friday

  • Identify and report defects, ensuring compliance with IPC standards
  • Developing skills to become a technology resource for the test unit and other production areas, as directed.
  • Working individually and on teams to improve various areas of the department.
  • Learning and use Six Sigma methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of production and test.

As Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for:
