Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC seeks an Electronic Technician D, Crypto/Naval Messaging to support the PMRF customer in Kekaha, Kauai. The role involves operating and maintaining cryptographic and messaging systems, with responsibilities spanning COMSEC tasks and classified traffic handling.

The ideal candidate will have an associate-level technical education, security certifications, and willingness to travel for Hawaii-wide operations, including at-sea assignments. U.S.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent training (e.g. Navy A School, 2-year technical school, or related military training).
• DOD 8570.01-M certification required within 60 days; Computing Environment cert within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Set up, check-out, operate, monitor and maintain range operation systems and equipment.
• Perform limited inspections and maintenance per procedures and OEM guidelines; document results.
• Assist with Message Center tasks: prepare, send, receive, process and distribute classified/unclassified traffic.
• Assist COMSEC functions including accounting, loading, destruction and courier services for cryptographic items.
• Occasional travel for Hawaii operations and at-sea deployments; other duties as required.
