Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC seeks an Electronic Technician D to support government customers in Kekaha, Kauai. You will operate and maintain cryptographic and naval messaging systems, with COMSEC responsibilities and potential travel across Hawaii.

Requirements include an Associate degree or equivalent training, plus DOD 8570.01-M certification within 60 days and Computing Environment certification within six months. US citizenship and secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent technical training required.
• Must obtain DOD 8570.01-M certification within 60 days of employment.
• Certification in Computing Environment within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, check out, operate, monitor and maintain range operations systems.
• Perform inspections and document results in records.
• Assist with message center duties including classified/unclassified traffic.
• Support COMSEC loading and courier services for cryptographic items.
• May travel for Hawaii operations and at-sea deployments as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
