Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking an Electronic Technician D, Crypto/Naval Messaging to support a government customer in Kekaha, Kauai. You will operate and maintain cryptographic systems, handle Naval message traffic, and assist with COMSEC tasks under supervision or independently.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree or equivalent, DOD 8570.01-M certification within 60 days, and a Secret security clearance. Hawaii-based travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent training (e.g., Navy A School, 2-year technical school).
• Must obtain DOD 8570.01-M certification within 60 days and environment certification within six months.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint and Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Set up, check-out, operate, monitor and maintain range operation systems and equipment.
• Perform periodic inspections and document results in system records.
• Assist with Naval Message Center tasks: preparing, sending, receiving, processing, and distributing traffic.
• Support COMSEC functions including accounting, loading, destruction and courier services for cryptographic items.
• Possibly travel for operations and maintenance across Hawaii and at sea as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
