Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Under minimal supervision, the RF Electronics Technician will be responsible for the acceptance testing of a variety of flight hardware components, cables, and devices such as antennas, couplers, and triplexers.
  2. Performing Continuity and Isolation testing, Monitor testing, and Functional testing, including in environments such as thermal cycling, vacuum, and vibration.
  3. Support development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, or specialized test equipment.
  4. Work with applications including analog, digital, and/or video circuits and logic systems.
  5. Follow guidance from superiors and work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or plans to perform routine testing, troubleshooting, prototype building, environmental testing, and developmental engineering tasks.
  6. Perform routine operational tests and fault isolation on development systems and equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications, diagnosing malfunctions down to component level.
  7. Conduct engineering tests and collect data as assigned.
  8. Utilize test and measurement instrumentation such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, power supplies, function generators, and oscilloscopes.
Education or Experience

High School diploma or equivalent; Electronics training equivalent to 6 years of technical trade school or military technical school.

Salary Range

$66,300.00 - $110,500.00

The salary range is a general guideline; actual offers consider experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, bonuses, and long-term incentives depending on the position. Northrop Grumman offers various benefits including health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plans, paid holidays, and PTO.
