Vector Security is seeking an Electronic Systems Technician in Columbus, OH to install and service residential systems and small to mid-sized commercial accounts. You will handle basic wiring, panel programming, system setup, and explain systems clearly to customers.

You’ll train and mentor technicians, maintain professional communication, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including a company vehicle, paid cell phone, health coverage, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.

Formación

• HS diploma or equivalent - required.
• 1-3 years of industry experience - preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving history.
• Certified Alarm Technician level 1 or equivalent - preferred.
• Minimum training/certification checklist completed per Technician Career Path.
• Ability to communicate professionally and provide superior customer service.
• Understanding of technical functionality of various systems.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot basic systems and perform wiring, panel programming, and system setup.
• Check for and correct errors in work and paperwork.

Summary:

As an Electronic Systems Technician you will be responsible for the installation and/orservicing ofresidential systems and small to mid-sized commercial accounts.Responsibilities include knowledge of basic wiring and panel programming, system set-up, basic troubleshooting,and explanation of system tocustomerwith ability to answer questions

What You’ll Do:

• Install/service residential systems and/or small to mid-sized commercial accounts:
  • Accurately complete installations and/or servicingwith frequent to minimal supervision.
  • Troubleshoot basic systems of assigned types.
  • Utilize skills inbasic wiring,panel programming,andsystem set-up.
  • Check for, and correct, any errors in work and paperwork.
  • Display professionalism when interacting with and communicating with peers,manager, and customers.
• Train and mentor technicians:
  • Review work ofEntryLevel technicianson shared jobsiteand provide training to correct any errors.

What You’ll Need:

• HS diploma or equivalent -required.
• 1 - 3 years of industry experience - preferred.
