Mid Continent Controls is seeking an Electronic Sub Assembler in Derby, KS. You will perform manual sub-assembly of our products, including soldering components onto printed circuit boards and following engineering drawings. Training is provided for soldering; strong leadership flexibility is valued.

You will read blueprints, document production data, inspect parts for defects, and operate standard assembly equipment. The role emphasizes quality control and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred and ability to guide others.
• Soldering skills on through-hole and surface-mount parts.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints and manufacturing docs.
• Willingness to learn with training provided.
• Strong attention to quality and self-inspection capability.

Responsibilities

• Solder components onto PCBs via manual or machine methods.
• Read blueprints, process sheets and assembly drawings.
• Follow verbal instructions and document production data.
• Inspect parts for defects and repair defective units.
• Assemble at sub-assembly level and build wire harnesses.
• Operate pick-and-place machines, PCB washers, and ovens.
• Perform self-inspection visually and with a microscope.
• Grind edges and cut PCBs as required.
• Perform duties using hand tools and contribute to final assembly.
