The Electronic Specialist II Retiree supports the availabilityandreliable distribution of electrical power across the University ofColorado campuses. This temporary retiree appointment will providespecialized knowledge and expertise to support the Power ManagementControl System (PMCS) and medium-voltage equipment maintenance,testing, and repairs. The work will focus on correcting PMCSbreaker-transfer logic, updating software and I/O modules, andassisting with outages and breaker replacements so campus researchbuildings can transition reliably between utility and emergencybackup power.
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite at theUniversity of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado.The position performs hands-on work with campus electrical systems,switchgear, substations, PMCS components, and plannedoutages.
Join the Facilities Management electrical team in work thatdirectly supports safe, reliable electrical power for campusoperations and research buildings. This appointment offers anopportunity to apply specialized institutional and technicalknowledge to modernize the PMCS, improve monitoring capability, andsupport critical medium-voltage maintenance and testing.
Minimum Qualifications:

The hiring rate for this position has been established as$46.12 per hour.
The above hiring rate represents the University's good faith andreasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Thisposition may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending onthe applicable employment classification.
