i2G Systems in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an Electronic Security Systems Engineer to design and support security solutions for new and existing clients, collaborating with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, developing installation plans, and providing technical assistance. 3–7 years in the industry and relevant certifications are preferred.

Formación

• 3-7 years of experience in the electronic security industry
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
• Experience in design and planning of access control and video systems
• Professional security certifications (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, C-Cure, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Milestone) preferred

Responsabilidades

• Possess a thorough understanding of standard electronic security technology (ACS, IDS, FDS, CCTV) and supporting equipment.
• Review architectural, electrical, telecommunication, and security drawings and schedules.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and conversions.
• Review Field Site Survey documentation and assist with RFI/RFP responses.
• Create solution design documentation (drawings, BOMs, summaries).
• Provide technical support for in-office and on-site team members.
• Assist management in creating documentation for new technology implementations with customers.
• Maintain familiarity with current and emerging electronic security technologies and vendors.
