Job summary

i2G Systems in the Phoenix area is seeking an Electronic Security Systems Engineer to design and support security solutions for new and existing clients, collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and contractors.

You will review architectural and site drawings, develop installation plans, create solution design documentation, and help respond to RFIs/RFPs, while staying current with access control, video surveillance, and biometrics technologies.

Qualifications

3-7 years of prior industry experience.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience in designing and planning access control and video systems.
Professional electronic security certifications or training preferred (Lenel, Genetec, C-Cure, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Milestone, etc.).

Responsibilities

Understand electronic security technology (ACS, IDS, FDS, CCTV) and supporting IT infrastructure.
Review architectural, electrical, telecommunications, and security drawings and schedules.
Design, develop, and implement system installations, upgrades, and repairs.
Support RFIs/RFPs and provide technical assistance to field teams.
Create solution design documentation (drawings, BOMs, summaries).
Provide on-site and in-office technical support.
Assist in documenting new technology implementations for customers.
