Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking an Electronics Security Systems Engineer to design and support security solutions for new and existing clients. You will work with internal and external teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

You will review plans, design solutions, and develop documentation while staying current with technologies in access control, video surveillance, and biometrics. Collaborative teamwork is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-7 years previous experience in the industry.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred or applicable amount of experience may substitute.
• Experience in design and planning of access control and video systems.
• Professional Electronic Security Certifications or training (Lenel, Genetec, C-Cure, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Milestone, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Possess thorough understanding of Electronic Security technology (ACS, IDS, FDS, CCTV).
• Review architectural, electrical, security engineering floor plans, riser drawings, device schedules and detail drawings.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and conversions.
• Review Field Site Survey docs and assist with RFI/RFP responses.
• Create solution design docs (drawings, BOMs, summaries).
• Provide technical support for in-office and on-site team members.
• Support management in documenting new technology deployments for customers.
• Maintain familiarity with current and emerging electronic security technologies and vendors.
