The role collaborates across the library to ensure timely invoice payments, reliable access, and effective stewardship of electronic resources. Requires MLS/MLIS and 2+ years in e-resources management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an ALA-accredited program.
• Minimum of two years in acquisition, management, and maintenance of electronic resources.
• Knowledge of electronic resource lifecycle, licensing, access management, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with MARC21, Dublin Core, and RDA.
• Knowledge of fund accounting in library acquisitions.
• Familiarity with KBART, COUNTER, and SUSHI.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate acquisition of electronic resources.
• Manage annual serials renewals and vendor relations.
• Assist with journal usage data reviews for collection effectiveness.
• Assist monograph purchases and communicate decisions to requestors.
• Maintain knowledge bases, EZproxy, and discovery services.
• Troubleshoot access issues and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
• Maintain acquisitions records and prepare budget reports.
