POSITION SUMMARY

As a Part-Time Electronic Processing Specialist, you are responsible for processing electronic transactions from various channels across the bank. You will research and respond to customer lockbox inquiries, accurately encode and proof daily teller transactions and process remote deposit capture deposits and work with customers to resolve errors. As a representative of the Bank, you are required to present a positive and professional image at all times.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately encode and proof daily teller transactions
• Interact with Branch Managers and Universal Tellers to resolve errors in their teller transactions
• Process remote deposit capture/mobile deposits and work with customers to resolve errors
• Appropriately handle any cash that may be sent in proof work from branches
• Process Counter Check orders ensuring checks are sent to the correct branch
• Process and create FED receipts
• Place technical support calls relating to software errors as needed
• Back up end-of-day processing role
• Process and balance lockbox payments daily by deadline
• Research and respond to customer lockbox inquiries
• Monitor Merchant and Mobile Capture files to avoid double posting
• Notify Relationship Managers of any over-the-limit status with Remote Merchants
• Verify all batches are in balance by end of day
• Provide end of day total reports to computer room by deadline
• Maintain compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements
• Consistently support, uphold and model the organization’s core values and standards
• Complete other duties as assigned as determined by management to be reasonable and beneficial

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position operates in a professional office environment. You will regularly be stationary at a workstation, constantly operating a computer or other office machinery in order to complete your job functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with employees via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to accurately gather and process verbal, digital, and written information and properly inspect and prepare documents. Good manual dexterity is needed for the frequent use of common office equipment such as computers, calculators, copiers, and telephones. In this position, you will occasionally be upright, traversing around the office. You will occasionally be required to lift up to 25lbs. Out-of-office or overnight travel may be required.
