Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an assembler to join our production team in Florida. You will assemble PCBs, test assemblies, and support the production of electronic components using through-hole and surface-mount technologies.

This hands-on role emphasizes precision, quality, and adherence to IPC standards. The position involves working 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts with a base compensation of $17.00 per hour plus a 10% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience requiring fine manual dexterity.
• Minimum 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components onto PCBs following detailed procedures and visual instructions.
• Inspect materials and completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards.
• Prepare and pre-form component leads according to IPC standards and assembly requirements.
• Identify and report defective components while maintaining accurate work-in-process within your work cell.
• Support production flow through board washing, packing, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
