Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC in Clearwater, FL is seeking a detail oriented Solder Assembler to join our manufacturing team on the 2nd shift. You will solder a wide range of components on PCBs, perform inspections, and ensure compliance with IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, and related standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on solder assembly in a production environment.
• Familiarity with IPC 610, IPC J STD 001, IPC 2221/2222.

Responsibilities

• Manual and selective soldering of through-hole, SMT, BGA, QFN, CSP components.
• Perform visual inspections using microscopes/AOI to identify solder defects.
• Verify materials meet specifications and recommend process improvements.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
