Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent with 6+ years' relevant experience or 2-year post-secondary with 2+ years' related experience.
• Proficiency in CAD modeling and producing detailed engineering drawings.
• Experience with SolidWorks or CREO required.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD models of custom parts and assemblies.
• Conceptualize new design solutions for radar systems.
• Publish engineering drawings with tolerances and notes.
• Research COTS components for suitability to requirements.
• Update docs per engineering direction and standards.
• Produce drawings for circuit cards, cables, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Demonstrate CAD best-practice and 3D visualization.
• Communicate clearly with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prepare and manage design documentation with MS Office.
• Perform trade studies between design options.
• Travel may be required; ability to obtain security clearance.
