Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated, through Aclara, seeks an Engineering Lab Technician to support day‑to‑day operations in the Engineering Lab, performing assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electronic and electromechanical products and prototypes.

You will document results using Microsoft Office, maintain proper ESD practices, and work closely with engineers, technicians and lab staff to keep the lab safe and productive.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in prototype fabrication, product assembly, and equipment integration.
• Hands-on experience fabricating and assembling electronic equipment, including surface-mount components.
• Experience with environmental, functional, and product qualification testing.
• Ability to perform environmental, functional, and product qualification tests by following procedures.
• Proficiency using engineering laboratory instruments, tools, and facilities.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of test activities and follow ESD practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic and electromechanical products, prototypes, and lab equipment.
• Document results accurately and report test-related information using Microsoft Office.
• Support a safe, organized, and efficient lab environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and lab personnel.
