Job description

Company Overview

DelMar Aerospace Corporation in Las Vegas, NV, is looking for talented personnel who can tackle tough challenges supporting manned and unmanned systems.

This position is awaiting contract award.

Job Summary

This position is the Wing and Operations Group EFB Program Manager for a B-1B group. The job has two halves that must be worked together: the technical administration of devices, software and stand-alone computers, and the implementation and documentation of higher-headquarters security requirements that change often. Aircrew cannot fly without their EFBs, and the performance standard is explicit: zero out-of-date safety-of-flight publications, 90 percent of other publications current, and no more than 10 percent of devices out of date.

Responsibilities And Duties
  • Manage the Wing and Operations Group EFB program in accordance with AFGSCI 11-270 and Baseline Configuration announcements, serving as primary Wing EFB Program Manager with a designated alternate.
  • Liaise with the AFGSC EFB Program Manager, AFGSC/A3TV; generate, archive and submit Wing and squadron EFB Manager appointment letters to the AFGSC/A3T EFB Workflow mailbox.
  • Carry out maintenance, upgrades, patching and restoration that cannot be done at squadron level, holding the MDM administrator passcode, ForeFlight administrator access and local administrator rights on all Exclusive Use Stand-Alone (EUSA) computers.
  • Administer the EFB program at Wing level in BlackBerry Unified Endpoint Management (BBUEM) or any future designated MDM, including user account management, lost or stolen device tracking and compliance audits, and complete the training certificates required to do so.
  • Coordinate with the Stan/Eval Technical Order Distribution Officer, squadron EFB Managers and Stan/Eval representatives so EUSA computers hold current Technical Orders, Currency of Directives, FCIFs, Special Interest Items and FLIP; standardize publications across EUSA, Group SharePoint and shared drives; update EUSAs by wireless, hard drive or CD/DVD; and email aircrew on changes.
  • Manage ForeFlight administration, including account additions and deletions, and educate squadron EFB managers on configuration for worldwide FLIP use.
  • Maintain the commercial internet (WiFi) service supporting EFB connectivity as primary contact with the ISP; schedule repairs and escort technicians on base.
  • Work with the Resource Advisor to set sustainment cost and maintain EFB equipment inventory, and report sustainment cost in the annual group budget process.
  • Act as equipment custodian for Operations Group EFB equipment; inventory and enroll hardware-refresh devices in the AFGSC Device Enrollment Program and MDM before operational use; decommission obsolete equipment through ITEC and DRMO.
  • Elevate EFB requirements and concerns to leadership and AFGSC/A3T, monitor iOS and technology releases, and maintain an obsolescence mitigation plan.
  • Use the Microsoft Teams EFB Program Manager site and SharePoint for program announcements, user profile management and new EFB manager training; engage in future EFB capability planning as directed by the Operations Officer.
  • Produce the EFB Audit Report and EFB Sustainment Report, and perform Stan Eval administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Active SECRET clearance, or a previously held SECRET clearance that expired and was not revoked.
  • Working knowledge of iOS and macOS; two (2) years of IT or device management experience desired.
  • Minimum two (2) years of Microsoft suite experience, with the ability to manage SharePoint and Microsoft Teams applications.
Qualification Waivers

Specific qualifications may be waived by the Government on a case by case basis where a candidate has the knowledge and skills to readily support the mission, including device management experience on an MDM platform other than BlackBerry UEM and publications or stan eval experience from another service or mission area. Candidates meeting most of the qualifications listed should apply.

Security And Citizenship
  • U.S. citizenship is a condition of employment.
  • Active SECRET clearance, or a previously held SECRET clearance that expired and was not revoked.
  • Eligibility for Restricted Data access.
  • Work is performed at the SECRET level.
Employment Terms
  • On site at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. The position cannot be performed remotely.
  • Full time. Core working hours total 1,880 per year over 47 weeks, generally eight hours daily across five days, as the Contracting Officer's Representative directs.
  • During exercises and holiday periods duty hours may move, not exceeding nine hours in a day, with known changes coordinated 48 hours prior.
  • Federal holidays are observed, together with AFGSC Family Days.
  • Anticipated start on or about Nov/Dec 2026.
  • Compensation negotiable and commensurate with experience. Medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off and 401(k).
  • Base period plus four one year option periods.
Location

Ellsworth AFB is located at Box Elder, South Dakota, approximately ten miles from Rapid City and adjacent to the Black Hills. South Dakota has no state income tax and housing costs remain moderate.
