Job summary

B3H Corporation is seeking an experienced Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Manager to support BSOS at Ellsworth AFB, SD. You will oversee software, hardware, and security for mobile devices used by bomber aircrews to keep safety-of-flight publications current and accessible.

The role bridges aircrew operations, IT communications, and security directives, requiring hands-on management of BBUE M, ForeFlight, and EFB hardware, with audits and asset decommissioning as ongoing duties.

Qualifications

• Experience with iOS and macOS.
• 2+ years MS Office/SharePoint/MS Teams experience.
• 2 years IT experience focused on mobile device management (MDM).
• Must possess a Secret Clearance or previously held Secret Clearance which has expired.
• Contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Wing/Group EFB Manager per AFGSCI 11-270 and liaison with AFGSC/A3TV PM.
• Act as EFB system administrator using BBUEM to configure and track mobile devices.
• Manage ForeFlight administrative account, adding/deleting users and ensuring proper FLIP configuration.
• Collaborate with TODO to ensure EFBs contain up-to-date Technical Orders, FCIF, and Special Interest Items.
• Manage internet services for EFB connectivity and coordinate ISP repairs.
• Serve as equipment custodian for EFB hardware and execute inventory, enrollment, and refresh rollouts.
• Generate annual EFB Audit and Sustainment reports and decommission obsolete equipment.

Overview

B3H Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Manager to support the Global Strike Command – Bomber Squadron Operations Support (BSOS) at Ellsworth AFB, near Rapid City, SD.

The EFB Program Manager operates at the intersection of aircrew operations, IT communications, and security directives. This individual manages the software, hardware, and strict security compliance for mobile devices utilized by bomber aircrews to ensure all safety-of-flight publications are current and accessible.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Wing/Group EFB Manager, managing the program in accordance with AFGSCI 11-270 and liaising directly with the AFGSC/A3TV Program Manager.
• Act as the EFB system administrator using BlackBerry Unified Endpoint Management (BBUEM) to configure, track, issue, and maintain mobile devices.
• Manage the ForeFlight administrative account, adding/deleting users and ensuring proper worldwide FLIP configuration.
• Collaborate with the Stan/Eval Technical Order Distribution Officer (TODO) to ensure all EFB standalone computers contain up-to-date Technical Orders, Flight Crew Information Files (FCIF), and Special Interest Items.
• Manage commercial internet services (Wi-Fi) required for EFB connectivity, directly coordinating repairs with the Internet Service Provider (ISP).
• Act as equipment custodian for all EFB hardware (tablets, battery extenders, faraday bags, lithium fire-bag kits) and execute device inventory, enrollment, and hardware refresh rollouts.
• Generate annual EFB Audit and Sustainment reports and decommission obsolete equipment.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of iOS and MacOS operating systems.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
• Strongly desired: Two (2) years of IT experience specifically focused on mobile device management (MDM).
• Must possess a Secret Clearance or previously held Secret Clearance which has expired (not revoked).
