Job summary

Acoustic Technology, Inc. (ATI) in Boston, MA is seeking an Electronic Field Technician to test and maintain Emergency Warning Systems and perform field implementations at client sites.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electronics or communications, familiarity with RF and cell modem systems, and must be willing to travel domestically and internationally, including weekends. A high school diploma is required, with the ability to pass background checks and lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Technical familiarity with Radio Communications and/or Installation of Fire Alarm Systems.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including weekends.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience in electronics and communication related fields.
• Familiarity with RF and Cell Modem communication systems.
• Basic computer skills and configuration.
• Network setup and configuration is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic lab equipment.
• Must pass a drug and criminal background check.
• Must be able to lift equipment up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Successful testing and start-up of Emergency Warning Systems at clients' sites.
• Training new and existing clients on products, their use and maintenance of the system.
• Factory testing of in-house products.

Our Electronic Field Technicians are responsible for Testing and Maintaining Emergency Warning Systems and Field Implementation.

The ideal candidate would have the following:
