Job summary

MBDA is looking for an Electronics Engineering trainee who will learn from project managers, then grow into an Engineering Project Manager role. You will support delivery, bids and supply chain activities while developing leadership and technical skills.

Dynamic Working and hybrid arrangements may apply, with a combination of on-site and remote work. Training and mentoring are provided to enable progression into the Engineering Project Manager position.

Qualifications

• A technical degree (ideally electronics) or equivalent experience.
• Exposure to electronic engineering or product development.
• Experience in an engineering environment.
• Project management basics, confident Excel skills, and Primavera P6.
• Able to bring people with you through clear communication.

Job description

You'll join a growing, close-knit Electronics Engineering team. You'll learn from experienced Project Managers, then take on your own projects and grow into an Engineering Project Manager role. We'll give you the training and support to get there.

Employees receive 25 days of paid annual leave per calendar year, in addition to all statutory and public holidays.

Dynamic (hybrid) working: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working - such as being onsite when necessary to work with people and collaborate, then working from home and around family commitments to be your most efficient. This role can be full time or part time: 4 or 5 days per week. We are flexible and accommodating. It would be beneficial to be on-site 1 or 2 days a week, depending on the project needs and working remotely other days.

Dynamic Working We want our people to work when and where they feel they can be most effective.
