MBDA S.A.S. is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Technician to support production, repair and modification of products to meet defined standards and specifications. You will use a range of tools, measure instruments, and ensure timely build and inspection.

You will certify products, maintain certifications and audits, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards while benefiting from dynamic working arrangements and generous annual leave.

Job description

The Electrical Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for carrying out the production, repair and modification of company products to meet defined build standards and specification requirements. You will:

• Possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks.
• Be fully conversant with all equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.
• Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and where relevant, inspection times are met.
• Check and complete all required manufacturing data requirements.
• Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
• Certify the product in line with the product certification procedure.
• Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain a good housekeeping policy.
• Communicate best practice to other team members., Employees receive 25 days of paid annual leave per calendar year, in addition to all statutory and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard)
• Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 academic qualification (ONC, diploma, etc.)
• Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ) Not required if a L3 apprenticeship standard has been achieved

Salary: Circa £42,500 dependent on experience Dynamic (hybrid) working: 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Dynamic Working We want our people to work when and where they feel they can be most effective. For roles that do not have to be based on one of our sites full-time, you will have opportunities to work from home as part of your agreed Dynamic Working arrangement.
