Job summary

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a skilled Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic to maintain, repair and test a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment at a Seattle-area facility. Duties include IPC/PLC maintenance, troubleshooting, wiring, and ensuring integration of repairs into automated systems.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, able to pass a background check, and meet pre-employment medical and color vision requirements; a valid driver's license is also required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Pre-employment physical including color blindness testing.
• Background investigation may be required.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, modify, install, repair, program and test electronic equipment including IPCs and PLCs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Ensure integration of repaired units into automated systems.
• Perform electrical installation and wiring plans, maintenance and repair.
• Diagnose, test and install electrical equipment and power lines.
