TalentoHC is actively partnered with a global organization seeking an EDI Manager to lead EDI operations across the enterprise. The EDI Manager will serve as the primary subject matter expert and strategic lead. This role ensures seamless integration between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) and major retail and distribution partners. The position is a hands‑on technical leadership role responsible for maintaining business continuity across supply chain, manufacturing, warehousing, invoicing, and customer service functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the North American EDI strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
• Position EDI as a strategic business enabler supporting revenue growth, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Establish scalable EDI frameworks to support expansion and ERP evolution.
• Partner with IT leadership on roadmap planning and long‑term capability development.
• Manage the full EDI lifecycle: onboarding, mapping, testing, go‑live, monitoring, optimization, and support.
• Lead and support EDI integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Analyze D365FO processes, identify integration risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Support supply chain integrations and large retail customer onboarding.
• Ensure accurate processing of EDI transactions including purchase orders, invoices, ASNs, and acknowledgements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production‑critical EDI issues in real time.
• Serve as escalation point for high‑priority trading partner disruptions.
• Drive continuous improvement in EDI automation, performance, and system reliability.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with IT, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Operations teams.
• Align EDI workflows with production planning, warehousing, shipping, and invoicing.
• Coordinate with global IT resources during ERP transitions and system changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive EDI experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and EDI communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VAN).
• Hands‑on experience integrating EDI with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Experience with modern EDI platforms and middleware solutions.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing supply chain integration with major retail partners.
• Proven ability to manage full EDI lifecycle from onboarding through operational stabilization.
• Experience supporting large retail customers with strict compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated success leading ERP‑integrated EDI initiatives.
• Experience operating as a senior‑level individual contributor or technical lead.
