Job summary

Bloomberg seeks an Electronic Communications Surveillance Analyst in New York to monitor, review, and investigate employee electronic communications for potential regulatory and policy breaches.

You will work within the Employee Compliance Function, collaborating with Legal, HR, and business teams to strengthen surveillance capabilities, tune alerting, and support investigations and regulatory examinations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience in compliance, surveillance, risk management, investigations, or financial services.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review alerts generated by surveillance systems and monitor communications across platforms.
