Job summary

Jane Street in New York seeks a trustworthy Global Communications Review Specialist to execute communications reviews for the firm globally. Working within the Legal & Compliance team, you will monitor internal electronic communications for regulatory compliance and escalate when needed.

You will analyze alerts from surveillance systems, assess conversations in context, and support cross-office projects. The role favors independent work, discretion, learning mindset, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a legal and/or compliance environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Discreet and trustworthy; able to use good judgment to make real-time decisions.
• Communicates clearly with colleagues and external partners.
• Not afraid to ask questions and admit mistakes.
• Reliable and flexible team player with a positive attitude.
• Eager to work independently, with the ability to elevate tasks when necessary and proactively following-up to close the loop on tasks and projects.
