Job summary

Jabil seeks an Electronics Technician to perform in-circuit verification, diagnose, and repair electronic circuit board assemblies. You will utilize test equipment, read schematics and BOMs, and support test engineering with data-driven improvements. Strong attention to safety and team collaboration is essential.

You will diagnose boundary-scan and other faults at the component level, contributing to yield goals and production needs while following all security and health guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read schematics and BOMs and interpret test data clearly.
• Experience diagnosing opens, shorts, and boundary scan faults on boards.
• Familiarity with standard test equipment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair opens, shorts, and boundary scan failures to component level on electronic circuit board assemblies.
• Exhibit proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Understand assembly documentation such as Schematics, BOMs, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures.
• Support Test Engineering with data evaluation to improve diagnosis efficiency.
• Adhere to production requirements, policies, procedures, and safety rules.
