Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a talented Electronic Circuit Design Engineer to join our Irvine, CA team on-site. The role focuses on circuit design, board bring-up, debugging, and rigorous validation testing for high-speed interfaces.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years in electronics circuit design, with aerospace/defense experience preferred, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in Electronics Circuit Design, Testing & Development.
• Aerospace/Aerospace & Defence experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• 4-7 years of experience in Electronics Circuit Design, Testing & Development.
• Proficient in Board bring up, debugging, Engineering validation testing, System integration testing, EMI/EMC testing and Environmental testing.
• Analysing field failures, root cause investigation and corrective actions.
• High Speed Board Testing using high-end Oscilloscope (16GHz+), performing Eye-pattern and Jitter measurements for PCIe Gen4, 10G Ethernet.
• High-Speed Digital Circuit Design and Board-Level Power Supply Design.
• Prototype development, board bring-up, debugging, and system integration.
• EVT, DVT, EMI/EMC, and Environmental Testing.
