Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Electronic Birth Certificate Coordinator to manage birth certificate data, ensure accuracy in the EBC system, and coordinate with the NJ DOH and local health authorities. The role includes greeting families, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining an organized work environment.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and strong computer skills. Prior experience with birth certificates and maternal child health is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: High School diploma or GED and/or GED equivalent programs; Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepares birth certificate information packets and assists families with forms.
• Enters data into the EBC electronic System accurately and maintains the system.
• Maintains communication with NJDOH and local DOH and ensures timely data transmission.
• Assists the Nurse Manager with statistical data and reports; supports nursing staff on the unit.
• Other duties as assigned and adheres to organizational competencies.
