Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Birth Certificate Clerk to process and register birth certificates with strict compliance to county, state and hospital guidelines. You will handle sensitive information, deliver excellent customer service, and support the HIM department with daily birth certificate operations.

Required: High School Diploma and 1 year in admin/data entry; preferred: Epic experience. Weekend as needed; on-site role in San Diego, CA with hourly pay range below.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 Year experience in administration, data entry, or clerical.
• Preferred: Experience with Epic.

Responsibilities

• Processes and registers Birth Certificates following county, state and hospital guidelines.
• Interacts with patients to provide excellent customer service and handle sensitive information.
• Performs daily birth certificate registration tasks and related clerical support for HIM department.
