Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Texas is seeking an Electronic Assembler to join our Production Team. You will perform a range of assembly tasks from diagrams, using hand and power tools, and work from engineering drawings to build electronic and mechanical subassemblies.

This in-house training program lasts 3 weeks; the role requires US citizenship, ability to lift 35 lbs, and willingness to work second shift and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings.
• U.S. citizen with facility access.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Willing to work second shift and overtime as needed.
• Microsoft Office familiarity is a plus.
• Experience with hand tools and inspection tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering, bonding, wiring, routing, riveting, assembly and disassembly.
• Assemble electronic and mechanical subassemblies per diagrams and drawings.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow approved engineering drawings and quality inspection procedures.
• Use measuring instruments to perform visual and dimensional inspections.
• Maintain logs and required paperwork.
