Job summary

Lockheed Martin in New York is seeking an experienced assembler to perform electronic and mechanical assembly operations from diagrams and drawings. You will use hand and power tools, jigs, and saws to build modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables, while ensuring continuity and quality checks along the way.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand soldering surface mount, through-hole, and wires at the circuit card level.
• Ability to identify and evaluate defects.
• SAP and manufacturing skills and knowledge.
• Specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks, and 3 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of assembly operations from repetitive to non-repetitive on electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Use diagrams, layouts, and hand/power tools, jigs, and saws.
• Conduct continuity checks on in-process and completed work and support quality inspections.
