Adtran, Inc. is seeking an Assembler to perform a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations for production of Adtran products. You will work with wiring, soldering, cable harnessing, welding, and fitting to exact blueprint specifications.

This role requires 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, a High School Diploma or GED, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to operate a pallet jack. No travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education requirements.
• 2–5 years of prior manufacturing or assembly experience required.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
• Ability to operate a manual pallet jack on a daily basis.
• No travel is expected in this position.

Responsabilités

• Assemble electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies used in production.
• Determine and follow wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting on assembly units.
• Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• Work on semi-routine assignments and indicate deviations from accepted practices as needed.
• Adhere to general and detailed instructions for routine and new assignments.
• Check and inspect products to ensure Q50 and IPC-A-610 quality standards are met.
• Make process, part, or assembly change recommendations based on assembly needs.
