Job summary

Adtran is seeking an Assembler to perform a wide range of electronic and mechanical assembly operations on components and sub-assemblies for ADTRAN products. The role requires following detailed instructions, hand soldering, wiring and cable harnessing, with strict adherence to blueprint tolerances and quality standards.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of prior experience, ability to operate a pallet jack, and proficient basic Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of prior experience required or equivalent
• Basic Microsoft Office skills are required
• Ability to operate a manual pallet jack on a daily basis
• No travel is expected for this position

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations
• Follow methods and sequence of operations for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting
• Make setups and adjustments to meet blueprint tolerances
• Inspect products to ensure Q50 and IPC-A-610 quality standards are met
• Address deviations from accepted practices and make recommendations for process improvements
