Job summary

Moog is seeking an Electronic Assembler for our Johnson City, Tennessee facility. The role emphasizes precise assembly, inspection, and documentation according to engineering drawings and production instructions.

Candidates should have at least three years in manufacturing or similar settings, with strong math and quality orientation. You will solder with microscopes, review revisions, and support continuous improvement while working onsite in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions and training materials in English.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to precision and quality workmanship.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, assembly, or similarly detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Perform inspections and testing procedures to verify product quality and functionality.
  • Review and verify completed work to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, production plans, and quality requirements.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate manufacturing and quality documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Access and review electronic documentation to ensure work is completed using current revisions.
  • Support training and cross-training initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
  • Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to operational excellence.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to support safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Follow written instructions and established processes with a high level of accuracy.
  • Perform precision soldering based on blueprints and utilize microscopes.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining consistent productivity and quality.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary Range Transparency:

Johnson City, TN $18.05–$22.00 Hourly Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location.
