Job summary

Moog is seeking an Assembler II for on-site work in Salt Lake City, UT. The role reports to the Assembly & Test Supervisor and runs a 9/80 schedule on First Shift with hours 7:00am–4:00pm Monday–Thursday and 7:00am–3:00pm every other Friday.

Requirements include a HS Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of electro/mechanical assembly experience, with preferred aerospace exposure. Proficiency reading drawings and BOMs is essential.

• 3+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing.
• Must read and interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manufacturing assembly line equipment.
• Install components on in-process products and sub-assemblies.
• Move and sort raw materials and finished goods; monitor quality.

Work Schedule: Onsite – Salt Lake City, UT

You will join the Manufacturing Assembly and Test team, reporting directly to our Assembly & Test Supervisor and enjoy an on-site, collaborative working environment to include a 9/80 schedule on First Shift! Hours will be 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Thursday; 7:00am - 3:00pm every other Friday.

• HS Diploma or equivalent required, Technical/Vocational training with high emphasis on mechanical systems desired.
• 3+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is required; Aerospace experience preferred
• Position requires attention to detail, organized work practices, and good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean work center
• Must be able to read and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, BOM, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and verbal.
• Prior experience with circuit cards and strong understanding of ESD
• Must be proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office

• Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment
• Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly
• Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
• Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
• Cross training on multiple production lines
