Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a hands-on Product Compliance Test Technician to support the development, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical and electromechanical equipment in a lab setting. You will collaborate with engineering teams on prototypes and test systems.

The role requires working with high-voltage/high-power systems, reading schematics, and maintaining rigorous safety standards while documenting results for engineering review.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and electromechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using electrical test equipment and laboratory instrumentation.
• Comfortable working around high-voltage/high-power electrical systems in a controlled environment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, test procedures, and technical documentation.
• Hands-on mindset with strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform electrical and functional testing per procedures and schematics.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and assist engineers with root-cause analysis.
• Operate laboratory instrumentation and test systems.
• Work with high-power electrical equipment safely in a controlled lab.
• Support test fixture setup, calibration, and configuration.
• Document results and communicate findings to engineering teams.
• Assist with test configuration and material coordination.
