Job summary

WITRON Group is seeking an Electromechanical Technician in Belvidere, IL to maintain and repair automated systems. This role focuses on preventive and reactive maintenance, safety, and documentation to ensure high system performance.

You will work with conveyors, cranes, and hoists, documenting tasks in CMMS and supporting operators. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to work independently or in teams.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary training from a technical school or vocational program (e.g., Electrician, Millwright).
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety.
• Experience with automated systems and conveyors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform unplanned and reactive electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Execute planned maintenance work orders in CMMS per policy.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and minimize downtime.
