Job summary

WITRON Group is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to help keep our automated systems running smoothly. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and support equipment operators with a focus on safety and documentation.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and comfortable using digital systems. The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends as needed and to adapt to shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Relevant Electrical and/or Mechanical qualification.
• Post-secondary training from a technical school or vocational program (e.g., Electrician, Millwright).
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent PC skills and ability to work with digital systems.
• Strong sense of safety, responsibility, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety regulations and actively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Perform unplanned and reactive electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Execute planned maintenance work orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose general electrical and mechanical faults.
• Monitor system performance and maintain awareness of operational status.
