Job summary

Nestlé USA in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a multi-skilled EMT 1 to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on production equipment under supervision. 1–3 years industrial maintenance OR trade school required; involves PMs, part replacements, and basic electrical work with safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years industrial maintenance experience OR trade school equivalent.
• Exposure to manufacturing equipment via internship, apprenticeship, or entry-level role.
• NFPA 70E awareness, LOTO trained, basic electrical & mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and basic work orders on assigned equipment.
• Replace mechanical components (bearings, belts, chains, gaskets, sensors).
• Perform basic electrical work (motors, switches, contactors).
• Follow LOTO and all safety processes.
• Assist higher-level techs with troubleshooting and rebuilds.
