Job summary
Oldcastle APG in Aberdeen, NC is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repair and troubleshooting on automated and manual equipment. The role supports two sites (Aberdeen, NC and West Columbia, SC) and requires PLC/robotics expertise and strong tool skills.
You will work with maintenance teams to install, test, and service components, while following EHS standards and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of maintenance/technician experience.
- Read and follow manuals and instructions precisely.
- PLC and robotics maintenance experience required.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and electricity is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair and troubleshoot automated and non-automated equipment.
- Install, adjust and repair production equipment and machines.
- Program and maintain PLC and robotic systems.
- Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance on plant structures.
- Ensure compliance with EHS programs and safety policies.
- Travel between Aberdeen, NC and West Columbia, SC as needed.
