Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, seeks an experienced electromechanical technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment at two sites: Aberdeen, NC and West Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities include PLC and robotics programming, component installation, welding and light machining as needed, and collaboration with plant personnel to ensure safe, efficient operation and minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of automated and manual equipment.
• Technical or vocational school certification or equivalent training.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EHS programs and policies.
• Install, adjust, repair and troubleshoot production equipment and machines.
• Operate and service hand and power tools.
• Program and maintain PLC equipment.
• Program and maintain robotic equipment.
• Perform welding, torching and light machining as required.
• Maintain plant structures and test equipment to ensure proper operation.
