Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. in Lakewood, NJ is seeking an industrial electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical and control systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, and collaboration with controls engineers; shift 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a base pay of $40.79 per hour plus shift differential.

Candidates should have five years of experience and strong knowledge of NEC/UL standards, PLCs, and blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least five years as an industrial electrician with equipment repair experience.
• Experience in consumer packaged goods, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Familiarity with FDA/GMP requirements.
• Able to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety culture and adhere to GMP, SOP and JSA procedures.
• Install, monitor, repair, and replace electrical circuits, motors, and transformers.
• Operate and maintain high voltage switchgear and PLC-based controls.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Read blueprints and work from sketches; coordinate with controls engineer.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
