Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners in the US is seeking a skilled electromechanical technician for a contract-to-hire role, to work hands-on in an R&D environment building prototype instruments and proof-of-concept hardware with a focus on craftsmanship.

The position targets 2–3 years of relevant experience with PCB assembly, soldering, and wiring. You will contribute to prototyping, sub-assembly, and close collaboration with the R&D team.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of electromechanical technician experience.
• PCB assembly and rework experience.
• Soldering proficiency.
• Cable and wiring assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble prototypes and proof-of-concept instruments.
• Perform PCB assembly, rework, and soldering.
• Complete cable and wiring assembly on R&D hardware.
• Support sub-assembly and integration of instrument components.
• Work closely with the R&D team throughout the build process.
