Job summary

Voyager Technologies, located in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to support the assembly, repair, and testing of electronic and electromechanical assemblies. The role is onsite in Pittsburgh and reports to the Lead Electromechanical Technician within Manufacturing, Integration, and Test.

You will fabricate harnesses, write documentation, perform tests, and assist with environmental testing for spacecraft and ground support equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years of related experience or an associate degree with 2+ years in the field.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, machine shop tools and test equipment.
• Experience with integration and testing of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read engineering documentation, schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and test cable harnesses per IPC-A-620 and related standards.
• Write and maintain harness documentation, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
• Inspect harnesses and perform continuity, hipot, insulation resistance, and functional tests.
• Assemble electromechanical subassemblies and support system-level integration on spacecraft.
• Support environmental testing including vibration, thermal, and acoustic tests.
