Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to support the assembly, repair, and testing of electronic and electromechanical harnesses and subassemblies for aerospace hardware. You will work under the Lead Electromechanical Technician on the Manufacturing, Integration, and Test team onsite in Pittsburgh.

The role emphasizes reading engineering docs, applying IPC-620 workmanship standards, and performing comprehensive test activities from harness fabrication

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation, schematics, and harness drawings.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical test equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team.
• Understanding of ESD-safe handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and test cable harnesses per IPC-A-620.
• Write and maintain wiring diagrams, pinout tables, build travelers, test procedures and inspection checklists.
• Inspect completed harnesses and perform continuity, insulation resistance, hipot, functional tests.
• Assemble electromechanical subassemblies and hardware for test articles and flight hardware.
• Perform integration of electromechanical systems for ground support equipment and test articles.
• Support spacecraft environmental testing, including on-site and off-site tests and fit checks.
• Manage electrical lab space, calibration tracking, ESD compliance, and safety.
